Concept Campaign for the UK’s biggest Chinese Supermarket Chain
One of the UK’s oldest and most successful Chinese supermarkets wants to expand their customer base to take advantage of the adventurous eaters living just round the corner. The aim? To turn: ‘There’s nothing in there for me’ into: ‘I eat this all the time!’
The ‘summer of love’ retro style to the colour, pattern and type harks back to Wing Yip having been established in the UK in 1969. The visual style is currently experiencing a resurgence in popularity and paired with tongue-in-cheek copy, it has a bright, engaging appeal to the young city professionals demographic.
My rollout for this campaign included a concept partnership event - speed dating and kitchen takeover at Manchester’s Allotment Bar, NQ.
